Bio

Oscar Gorman-Tysoe is a UK-based Composer for media with a passion for creating immersive and evocative soundscapes. 

 

Prior to his career as a composer, Oscar studied Music at Durham University, specializing in composition. In 2022, he completed his Master’s Degree in Orchestration from Thinkspace Education via the University of Chichester where he studied under Norman Ludwin, Michael Worth and Sam Watts. 

In April 2023, he conducted the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra during performances of his works. 

“I’ve always been drawn to emotive and immersive music. The soundtracks to all the films, games and TV shows I’ve loved have always transported me to that specific world and music is one of the few things that can do this”.
